AS Sumar
AS Sumar is private owned (100% belongs to Estonian private
capital) and was established in 1991. AS Sumar started as producer of
hard-metal tools and parts in small series in co-operation with
Tallinn Technical University.
We export 90% of our production to Finland, Sweden
Denmark and Germany. References: ABB, Whirlpool, Electrolux, Volvo, Saab,
Husqvarna, etc. Our nowadays capacity is about 100
injection moulds and press tools per year. Sumar qualifies
for the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
We have two branches of production since 1994:
- design and production of plastic injection moulds, 60%
- production of machine parts and tools made by powder metallurgy
technology, 40%
